Mine hatch the 5th! This is what I’m down to.
7 Legbars
6 Silverudd’s
5 Welsummer
1 backcross Olive egger.
The Legbar and Silverudd’s have 100% developed. 1 Welsummer was an early quitter. 5/6 olive eggers didn’t develop or early quit.That’s ok though. It’ll give me something to hatch for next year. Along with Leghorns and bantams.

At day 10 they’re already too dark to photograph. In person I can see some movement and veining.

Was it you that had them stacked in the incubator??

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME my chick's are not ready to hatch but one got dropped and the egg shell broke bad but the membrane steady intake what should I do they are days away from hatching

Got my eggs!!!!

One set was labeled live hatching eggs, live chick embryos. So that automatically was held at the PO. That was the splash Cochin eggs and project eggs. I won 10+, but talked to her about 12. Should have been 7 splash and 5 project.... She sent 12 but 9 project and 3 splash.... I may send her a message about it, but say not to worry about it till we see how they do.

2nd set are BBS Cochin. Won 12+. Got 17, but 1 was broken. Nothing marked on box, changed it for pick up at PO and told my friend that works there to have my carrier hold both (she texted that they were there).. but guess something got mixed up. Hopefully they are ok since eggs from this seller already didn't develop despite great packaging.

So here are my 28 eggs..... Need to figure out incubator for first 4-7 days since it holds 22. Lol

I wondered that too. The Olive eggers were purged before I stacked though. They quit when I was still hand turned in a single layer. When the turner was added only one egg, cream Legbar, was above the turner in the center. That egg is looking good. The breeder says the Olives are her best hatchers. Usually 100% for her. Just one of the nuances of shipping and hatching.

There was some stacking/ doubling up when I added the Trader Joe’s eggs (total bust there) but the new eggs were on top, I think. I’ve wondered if I just messed with them too much during the window they were stacked. Extra hand turning and candling. Most the quitters were from 2 breeds. Olive egger or Production White (different sources) on appropriately the same days. I also considered a spike in the incubator. It’s been pretty stable but because of how I sort my eggs (by breeds) it makes sense a hot zone spike would affect certain breeds more than others.

28, 22 in slots & add 6 in the middle slots between the inner & outer rings. I have a pic of how I fit 27 in on my last hatch to start in the NR360 thread. You’ll just have to open at least 3 times per day to tilt the extra eggs back and forth. I rotated position each day so that no one egg stayed in the middle except the saddled air cell egg. By day 5 I had removed 5 clears so there was room in the regular spots.

Do you have pictures? Cracks can be repaired successfully.
