I got some pictures from the breeder of my eggs. To assist with sexing the Legbar, Welsummer and Olive egger chicks. It’s going to make this hatch extra exciting!

I have all 28 eggs set. I will candle them on either Thurs or Fri (Friday if I can wait) then again over the weekend and remove some that I can 100% tell are clears to hopefully fit them all in the incubator the right way.

From this breeder they’re sex linked. I’m not sure what combo they use to get the sexlink. Here are the OE chicks. Wanna take a guess who is who?

Just candled...was concerned bout accuracy of incubators. So day 12 candle of 14 Satins n Silkies shows 12 looking amazing! Little life in those tiny eggs...eyes, feet, just beyond amazing every time! I'll recheck a couple on Day 14 ...I've done that before and learned if in doubt, no smell, and veining n growth look good...then I leave them til lockdown.
Two hatches I've done that and glad I did cause those "?" have hatched first!

Well out of my 12 eggs I set, 3 of 4 silkie eggs were fertile and are growing. The EE ones are very difficult to see through, but 4 of them I was able see some veins. My kiddo did drop one egg though, so I'm down to 10 in the incubator still.

How bad was the crack? If it’s not through the membrane you can attempt a repair.

It was shattered. Poor girl cried.

Top one girl (solid stripe down the head & back), bottom one boy (no head stripe and blurry dorsal stripe)? That would be my guess if they are similar sexed as legbars.
