Okay. If I open the bator, will it hurt the others?Sound like it may be in distress. If there has been an external pip for over 24 hrs, it might be shrink wrapped.

Shouldn't hurt anything if you do it quickly. What's your humidity at?Okay. If I open the bator, will it hurt the others?
I don't have a hydrometer. Usually the fill the bator up completely, water volume is probably like 12 x 16 x 1/2 inches.Shouldn't hurt anything if you do it quickly. What's your humidity at?
It shouldn't if you're quick about it. Just to be on the safe side I always have a little fine-mist spray bottle on hand that I fill with very warm/nearly hot tap water and then spritz the inside of the incubator lid and over the eggs if I have to open it. It helps to replace any humidity lost.Okay. If I open the bator, will it hurt the others?
Does it work? Kind of a dumb question...It shouldn't if you're quick about it. I am so sorry! That's awful. The little lavender that Estelle tossed out of the nest yesterday didn't make it.
And only one has hatched so far this morning...another lavender. So far it's been one single keet hatched out per day, which is really weird.
She’s a first time broody and I’m not feeling super confident in her skills, so there’s likely no harm done. These poor eggs have been kicked out of the nest randomly, accidentally gathered and left on the counter for a bit, and she’s not being as locked to the nest as my Wyandottes were… But it’s also about 20° hotter! I’d rather she get cooled off than sacrifice herself for the eggsUt oh! She's trying to help! Poor sweetheart! Hopefully they'll be ok...and she was able to learn a little lesson on the baby eggs vs lets eat em eggs. Lol
