Two more have started up over the Christmas/New Year period

My lil poofy puff has made an egg!!!!!! 99% sure it’s hers Otherwise my Aug hatch laid it and that seems way too early lol. My Polish is sporting wattles though… Anyway, look at this gorgeous olive!!!! (Top right)

Congrats!!!

So jealous though. Lol. I was looking at mine today and a couple of them are starting to pink up so was hoping it would be soon! My girls are 25 weeks....

My Easter hatch just started laying within the week too, so I couldn’t believe how early it was! The July and August chicks look more ready than my February Orpingtons, etc that decided to molt this fall do It’s so weird!

I have hens that were hatched in May, and some from July. I have one I am looking forward to her laying...she is a steel egger.

And I just got a rooster, but he is shy yet. he is 8 months old.

My Easter hatch just started laying within the week too, so I couldn’t believe how early it was! The July and August chicks look more ready than my February Orpingtons, etc that decided to molt this fall do It’s so weird!

A couple of my April babies are molting too. Others don't look close to starting again yet. My one that didn't start yet is getting pink so hopefully she will start soon. Then my July babies. Here are some pics today of my July babies ( the Aug baby is mixed in there too but she doesn't look close). Think the pics make them look a bit more red than they are.

And another I had. The have both passed on though. They lived long lives.
