Just joined from Seattle

Hi all,
The wife and I are raising five girls in Ballard. Two Black Star Crossed, Kalamata and Olive, one Barred Rock, Daisy, one Wyandot, Coop, and one Americauna, Dee. The first three are just shy of two years and the other two are ten months. We started with four but lost Paula to cancer, sad to see. Then we added the three younger ones but lost Flew, the second Wyandot, when she turned her butt inside out!

She went to a farm on Vashon that was able to find a vet to stitch her up and we are told she's back in fine form. She won't be coming back to us though, that was the agreement. I was really sad to see Flew go as I had the honor of naming the three young ones, Flew, Dee, Coop. Oh, well, so it goes.
Anyway, glad to be here to learn and share.
