We had a couple days of really bad storms in the middle of summer that we couldnt go out in, so the first day back I tried to give them as much pool time as possible. They'd usually get out on their own terms, dry off, and nap a little with me on the daybed before we turned in for the evening. Little suckers got back in before I could stop them this time and then fell asleep on the water. This is Triscuit just cruising by asleep at the wheel.

I said "ma'am you are asleep you need to get. out. of. the. pool!" and she immediately turned around and tucked her bill in while looking straight at me, went back to sleep

I had to get in the pool to get them out, easily 9:30pm before they were dry and ready to go in. And I still had to make dinner.

Ooh I was just looking through old YouTube vids and found this video from the first time i brought Pigeon home and the first time she met Penguin, Pigeon was a bit scared of Penguin but not scared of me at all I believe someone raised her without any other ducks and then dumped her at the park. Its awesome how amazing of friends they have become since then they are inseparable now.

I was filling the tub and she jumped in early! She's inside recovering from an illness - I think I'll tell the vet she is all better now.

So it's been awhile since I posted in this thread but Karen just today decided she wanted to be pet for the first time! She never has been interested in me or liked me very much because she was raised by a wild duck, but when I went out to pet the other ducks today she came right over and just started bobbing her head at me as if she wanted some pets
