Thank you, I appreciate this. I hope so. Though honestly I don’t think I’m going to try again for a while. This has just been too stressful and discouraging. I know most of that is because of me but still. I don’t think I’m cut out for it. Might let a broody hatch me sometime though if I get one. Maybe in the spring. Or maybe I’ll feel better if at least one chick hatches.

I’m pretty sure I saw some movement but most were too dark to really be sure. But didn’t see any more blood rings or anything. 12, the one I wasn’t sure about, looks like it could be dead, the veins look a little iffy, but I swear I saw movement ha so I left it. The other white one was definitely moving and seems to have good veins!

I only took out the two definite dead ones.

So there’s 11 left in there.

I guess I’ll candle again before lockdown to really be sure??

Yeah, I thought so too!! 5 and 8 (one of the white ones) appear to have definite movement!

So that was exciting. Or at least a relief. Knowing I didn’t kill them all haha

And hopefully there’s some other live ones in there too.

I think I must be coming down with a cold or something because I’ve been so dang emotional today and I normally never am
