My mom makes us watch Christmas shows with her every Christmas Eve. I can recite most word for word.

I think she regrets ever watching the Grinch with me when I was younger because he is my all-time favorite. I have seen every Grinch movie that has ever been made!

Im the youngest of 3. I even used to work on cars with my father just as something fun to do on the weekends.

Kids don't even watch shows like families used to. I still watch Halloween movies even if my kids don't want too, but usually my youngest is down to watch movies any day.

So many kids don't even get to experience hatching eggs or anything like this. When I was a kid my grandfather was hatching ostriches... It's one of the biggest memories of my life! I still remember losing my breath the day he showed me them, they were huge but absolutely gorgeous.

I'm one of those weirdos that just stares at my chicks and watches how they interact with each other. It's amazing to me the whole entire process, but we have a generation that's growing up that will never see this. They are more into technology things than farm life.

I remember when my grandfather was hatching eggs, I thought he was the craziest person ever and now I look at my own birds that I've hatched and I just think in my head "This is why you did it!"

I Googled it and the characters look kind of familiar but not the names

Although I wouldn’t say it’d be an entire generation that doesn’t know about this stuff!! There’s still plenty being raised right!

And then there’s people like me who didn’t grow up with it but just happened to find/research it myself and get chickens and start a garden and all that lol

Where there’s a will there’s a way

And I LOVE animals and farming/homesteading/whatever it’s called now so if I ever have kids, they’ll definitely grow up with it! As well as just being outside in general. Hiking, kayaking, skiing, etc.

Tbh I’ve been pretty lazy or weird lately and barely even go outside sometimes and eat horribly

But I still love it and I’m working on it haha
