just keep an eye on it.....sometimes it can take 24 hours to hatch......Yeah the Welsummer is but it’s been pipped since yesterday.![]()
I agree to this. I never assisted my second hatch and some took 24+ hours. I was completely hands off at hatching time and it worked for me this time!just keep an eye on it.....sometimes it can take 24 hours to hatch......

There will always be slow pokes, look at the one that I had that was two days late!Okay thank you both!! Technically it hasn’t been 24 hours yet. I think it pipped yesterday afternoon or evening maybe. So I’ll give it some more time. Just the others hatched so fast and these last 3 seem to be kind of slow pokes haha the BR is a full 2 days older than these guys. But day 21 isn’t over until 4pm. So I think they’re still on time. Maybe it is because of the hot and cool spots I had.
I didn't want to upset you, any more, by telling you that that one did not look like a Welsummer.Nope, the Rhode Island Red! I thought it was the Wellie at first too but not according to the egg numbers haha the remaining 2 are the Welsummer and another Orpington.
