TSC and walmart are usually the only stores we go to besides the grocery store. I used to do Petco until I had 4 dogs and a cat, it gets to expensive there, I like chewy better.

Nice!!

And yeah that makes sense. I love chewy and it’s definitely cheaper but I’ve just been going a lot for stuff I forgot I needed and can’t wait for

And cause of the sale on tanks haha

I’m actually gonna go back there today to get another tank and some more substrate (they’re the only place that has a really good kind I want) now that Draco has suddenly made a miraculous recovery and I find myself with no place for the third one I bought yesterday thinking Draco was dying :lau

I've been out much of the day letting deer humiliate me. Geesh, people always say, ahhhh the poor deer. Everybody hunts them and they are so pretty and cute and.....well all this stuff is said by somebody who has never had one leave the imprint of its head on your car hood or stolen and eaten all of your apple and peach crop. I think they are beautiful animals but so help me if I get one in my rifle sights......

Unfortunately it isn't as easy as it sounds. They run....and they run FAST! By the time you get your rifle up and the sights on the fleeing deer all you have is a glimpse of it's white tail end as it dashes out of sight and doesn't stop until it hits the next county.

That happened three times to me tonight. Think I'll stick with chickens...maybe turkeys....and dogs and cats.....:hmm

Aww I’m sorry!! Hopefully you have better luck next time! :fl

Though I must admit, this had me cracking up :lau

You are such a great storyteller!!!

Do IT? Really? We will if you will, Kelsey!:lau I feel pretty safe with that offer.;) It was in the low 20s here this morning. No way I'm dragging my stiff jointed, painful necked 66 year old backsided self out of a nice warm bed with a heated mattress pad under me and a fat dog heating up my back after it claims DH's side of the bed to go out and sit in a deer stand with a north east wind making me feel more miserable than I normally do in the mornings.

I'll leave that to the next door neighbors with the 12 kids at home and stay inside sipping hot coffee and reading BYC. Then go back out in the late afternoon and let the deer humiliate me more.

I swear they thumb their miserable little black noses at me. Three years ago or 4, can't remember, I set out in the woods on a rare nice Sunday morning with my rifle resting on my lap and watched a big buck with only one 5 point antler trot across the neighbor's timberline and stop just 20 feet shy of our fence. I was able to bring my rifle up and get a perfect killing shot in the cross hairs and held it there muttering...jump the fence, jump the fence....jump the flippin, freakin FENCE!. I must have chanted that mantra for 5 minutes while that stupid buck stared at me, looked around, licked it's nose...turned and ambled back up the neighbor's ridge.

I get no respect from the miserable cloven hoofed devils.
