I am so excited about the Lavender Orp!! And yes! Tbh even though the other RIR is super smudged the letters were still easy to read so I figured it out pretty fast haha having difficulty with the creamish one next to the Andalusian though. I know it’s another Orpington but what kind!?

You were partially right though!! There IS a buff orp too but it’s darker! This one is lighter like the Lav Orp. I will be so excited if there is another Lav Orp!!! LOL

I just checked my eggs... Two are not fertile. That barred rock is about to be crispy fried why won't she just breed with my roosters and get it over with? She screams at them! My boys are so nice, but she doesn't think so.

Okay I’m probably WAY over thinking this but I turned my heat up in my room earlier cause it was super cold. Well now it’s super hot and the bator was reading like a half degree higher than I set it for and the spot check was reading 100! Now reading 100.1! Inside the “egg” (water wiggler)! Who knows what air temp is! So I turned the bator down a degree. And turned the temp down slightly in my room. Probably should have tried one or the other first? Idk how to get it exact ha

That's my husband's chicken, he chose her from all the different breeds. I'm going to hide her the day I butcher the meat chickens. I'll write her name on a vacuum sealed beg and let that one thaw out. I want to see if he notices

The other day I hid under the kitchen table when it was dark and I pushed the kitchen chair in front of him, he tried to act like he didn't just die He slowly put it back at the table and I pushed it out again. Then he about died... He was thinking we had a ghost.
