I'm not sure why mine are creating so much dust! I'm using pine shavings. I have to vacuum a lot in that room.

Their down is coming out and they are growing in new feathers, that creates a lot of dust

Aw that sucks!! We haven’t had a problem with coyotes here (though we do have them) but we do have a lot of foxes and hawks. Have had a few hawk attacks and lost one to one a few years ago. So I don’t let mine free range that much anymore.

So will it slow down a bit? Or should I just move them to the shed?

The only worry that I have about moving them into the shed is that it's not very predator proof. We find cats in there all the time!

We kind of can't... It's not ours to fix lol. We do not own this property.

I did put chicken wire along the bottom of the chain link dog kennel, I got halfway done. My husband thinks they'll be fine outside with the heat bulb. We are in the 50s and the temp drops to the 30s at night.

15 days, but they're halfway feathered some are more than half. They're big chicks!

They're wild today! They keep jumping up pecking the heat lamp! They're crazy birds!
