Oh and so far the chicks that have hatched are a Barred Rock, a Black Australorp, a Welsummer, and a Blue Andalusian. The Lav Orp and the EE are pipped. There’s also another Welsummer in there, the Buff Orpington, the unknown Orp, and a RIR.
Go take a picture of the chicks.

They wouldn’t hold still and they’re still not completely fluffed up so this is the best I could do LOL

I’ll get better ones when they fully fluff out and they’re a little less brand new to the world haha

Can I put the paper towels over the shavings? Might be kind of hard to take them all out hah
Well if they're having trouble walking on the shavings then they're going to continue to have trouble walking on top of them.
A flat hard surface is better.
