They are so pretty, they'd love it at your place. I just don't need them if I am getting rid of any boys to mate them with.
Like I said, I have to be brutal. If for no other reason than I have to feed all these little buggars - and I can't keep every chicken I see - whether I want to or not.
It is gonna be hard getting rid of the Spitz boys - seriously, they are the funniest dang chickens I've ever seen. They make me giggle every morning. If they weren't all boys, I'd keep one pullet just to watch her running around the yard. Heck, if I could find a pullet, I'd keep her and one boy to run around the yard. If I let them out to freerange I'd probably never get them back into the coop again, anyway,
they'd sleep in the barn or some such. They really don't like being cooped up, and would rather sleep in a tree or outside on a perch if they can.

Guess I'm gonna have to get busy and put a door on that new doghouse. You should see my Serama chick, it is so tiny. Trying to decide whether to give it it's first bath at a week old or wait...It still has "mousse" plastering its feathers down on its head.
