Lame Duck Question..

oh yeah any ACV organic should be fine. I think 2 TBS per gallon is good for soaking - and it won't hurt if she drinks it either. It won't burn - it is my go to for any skin/feather issue. After she's soaked and dried, I'd coat it with something - I use green goo animal first aid ointment or the poultry spray from TSC. Both are natural and won't hurt her. I'm sure someone else will reply with other advice and info on that leg....

Green Goo... I was telling my husband to get Blue Goop..lol! Surely he can figure it out!

Thank you, I did let her soak for about 10 minutes. She isn’t very happy, she misses her sisters. She doesn’t have any maggots -thank the Lord! I wouldn’t handle that very well!

So she’s only about 12 weeks old now? So not laying eggs yet. Do you have any drakes? A better pic of her rear end would be great.

While she is inside, you might try rigging a sling in a tote, old towel or shirt with holes cut for her legs. Use those big binder clips at the top to suspend her with her feet just barely touching the bottom. You can also put water in the tote with her suspended so she can get some exercise.

It looks so much worse than I thought...
I bought some Vetericyn Plus Poultry Care, says it is for multiple things plus Vent Prolapse. Also got Pick-No-More cover up lotion when/if is reunited with the others.

Those are feathers on the bottom. All the feathers are gone..I have no idea.
