Our first roo was a Black Australorp who was mean as a snake and is now in the freezer. This new fellow came from a friend who tells me he is a real sweetie. So far he is. He is RETARDED though!!! He crows nicely. But then he makes this weird long screeching sound. Finally dawned on me he

is imitating the sound the train makes when it goes by. Sometimes the wheels screech....... Gotta love roosters!!

Oh, his name is Cyrus. Can anyone tell me his breed? Haven't been able to figure that out. He is a bantam, though.
