1. Originally from San Francisco Bay Area, now living in the Cascades of Oregon

2. I have 9 chickens (sssshhhh, don't tell, we're only allowed 4 -- but they only just passed that rule last November, so it doesn't count, right?):

1 RIR
2 Barred Rocks
2 EE
2 Leghorns
1 Welsummer
1 Cuckoo Marans
Contemplating a bantam cochin rooster (also illegal here.....shhhhhh!)

3. I had pigeons as a kid, so I already loved birds. I started contemplating chickens while I was still a renter, and dreaming, "Man, someday I will own my own house, and I then I can have ALL the pets I want!!!" I finally became a homeowner, and within 2 months, had my Sweetie start building the chicken coop! I had a chicken palace before I'd even unpacked my own house -- priorities, right?

I am Tammy
I have 41 babies
Silkies, Sebrights, Bantam game hens, Jersey giants, Favorellas, Polish, Cochins, Frizzles 4 2 week old silkies and have 12 eggs starting to hatch I can hardly wait till they are out.
I fell in love with chickens when I was small. I love all animals.
I am getting Guineas and ducks.

I work a Government job in Customer Service and I love it.

Lovely to meet you and Ssshhhh we will never tell lol.
I havent unpacked my house either lol still have 2 spare rooms full of stuff.

3-well that wasnt my idea.it was because of my brother! he got good grades and my father bought him ducklings and now we take care from them !:yesss:
