Lice question

    If one chicken in a coop has lice , do they all have them??? Just caught a hen that was in a nest box and looked her over pretty good and found her to be clean but the roo looks pretty mangey. Are the lice that get on horses the same that get on chickens? I'll catch the roo after dark and check him out.

    Inspect all you birds for lice/mites. Lice are host specific. Horse lice wont colonize on poultry and visa versa.
