Pretty eggs.

Thank you, downfall i did not see two this morning when I went to let them out, the new layer probably (I am hoping) did not get a chance to lay yet.. which means when I get home tonight will be an egg hunt around my yard

I did put in 11 eggs from my Pekin to see, they are just getting to day 6, so will candle after the weekend most likely.

And when they first start to lay they may not lay everyday.

Figured out which duck is laying, didnt see a new egg in the house other than the Pekins.. After me and my 6 year old were outside her trying to play with them, me filling kiddie pool. We noticed we lost track of one, couldnt find her. Mal (mallard or rouen, cant tell the difference) was in a taller flower pot. She had made herself a little nest in there to lay an egg.

How sweet they can pick some of the darnest places to lay. lol
