If it's small, it should draw in by tomorrow or the next day. They grow so fast!
Yes I just hope I didn't hurt it by helping it a little mabye he just wasn't ready I thought since it's been like 2 days since he pipped and progress was slow I would help him a little but he seems to peep and move from time to time good sign?

It's really tough to decide when to assist. We get nervous and its hard to be patient and worry.

How's it doing now?

He's starting to move more often and tries to stand at times but mostly just wants to sleep he peeps sometimes as well... just guess I'll have to wait and see

I'm just wondering if I should separate my ducklings as one of them was born yesterday and is weaker and tiny the older and more energetic one might step on the weaker one he has dried off and i feel that tiny will kill the new ducky by standing on it...

Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to keep them apart until the little one is a bit stronger.
Ok Thankyou should I use card board to separate them in the same brooder and when the weak one gets stronger I'll move the cardboard?

Doesn't really matter what you use, just as long as they both can get to a warm area, and a cooler area, feed and water.

Is the little one's belly ok?
