This little lady (hopefully) is knocking them all around so its going to be even harder! She is very vocal so hopefully that will do the trick. The shell said PS, does that mean Splash? I never cared as these will just be pets but curious now. Fingers crossed more hatch out soon!

After googling maybe the P is for Partridge?

No other pips visible!

Still no other pips and this chick hatched almost 6 hours ago but isnt opening its eyes much. Moving around a bit then resting but yea hasnt really opened up its eyes.

My first chick that hatched, I was out and about running errands..... came back home and heard a chirp which startled me. I have no clue a chick would hatch that day as it was only on Day 19 so I wasn't prepared so when I saw that little thing it kinda creeped me out to be honest. Anyway, I mustered enough courage to grab the little sucker and put him in the brooder.

Congrats:love On Tuesday I picked up silkies from a breeder that were freshly hatched. So so sweet! I was personally surprised by how much newly hatched chicks sleep as I usually bought them at a few days old and they are very active by that point. I’m watching your thread with interest:pop
