Sorry, I have to disagree with @BlueBaby. I feel sure it helps.
Actually talking, pecking, even playing chirping sounds for them does get reactions from them. It may not make them come out any faster, but at least you can sometimes see movements.

Ive had the classical music on. Maybe I should look for some bird sounds!

A nap sounds wonderful but I have a 4 year old and 1.5 year old so doesnt leave any time for that!
