is it way bigger than him?if so he is prolly scared of it. do you think you can take care of him in your apartment? i mean joey and chandler raised "duck" and "chick" in a NY apt on the show "Friends", but that was TV. this is real life. i glad you gave him a second chance. So do your best to take care of him..... please.....

He might do better with a chick-sized mirror. He can see his reflection and think it's another chick

This bird needs heat. Get a heating pad put on low for him. You can setup your own incubator. An aquarium would work with a heat lamp. (Pets stores care everything you'd need ) also homedepot will have things like a bin you Caan use and heat lamp... you are in an emergent situation because you chick isn't getting enough heat to digest his food and function. He needs heat asap

Do not get a 200w though. I use a 40 watt for small spaces, and just a few chicks.

That's sad they killed those chicks just because they are small. See if the closest feed store is selling chicks. If not, you can look on Craigslist or some other places.

I doubt they have feed stores in Brooklyn but hopefully Petco or something will carry food and stuff.
