Losing feathers

Any thoughts on the cause of a chicken losing her feathers? It is most noticeable on the back of her neck.

Molting around the age of 18 months and every 12 months thereafter will cause the birds to lose feathers and regrow them over a month or so. Feather picking by another bird may cause feather loss. Mite or lice infestation may cause loss of feathers.
