Looks like he didn't absorb everything or it got pulled out.

It should be fine. I’d keep it on something soft and away from possibility of others pecking at it. I actually had a cream legbar hatch exactly like that yesterday. He’s fine today.

It’s in its own bowl with paper towels lining it. It’s receeding really well.

Yes. They have it in their water and if they need any directly they’ll get some. So far they’ve been good.
