Blame my mother!! She told me to put it in. And the hen who laid the double is broody, so if they hatch then we’re going to give them to her. That hen LOOKS like a turkey right now, she’s terrifying!

Thank you If it doesn’t hatch I won’t be sad, it’s just life! I want to catch it on live video so badly, that would be such a cool experience.

Wellllllll we had a double yolk laid on the same day as the Australorp eggs..so we put it in there. For the longest time I thought it was a single embryo, but it’s got two blobs in there. Both are positioned nicely too, with them faced towards the air cell instead of stacked like the others have been.
