Hey, not sure if this is all that helpful cause I’m not sure of the quality of their birds, but I have 5 Liege’s that I raised from eggs that I bought from DC heritage poultry in Quebec. I’ve read some very mixed reviews on them but they are the only place I’ve found in Canada to get a lot of more unique breeds from. And so far the health of all my lieges has been good personally But I am a rather rookie chicken keeper and can’t say I really know if they are good quality/conforming well to the breeds standards, however I think mine are quite beautiful haha.

Thank you for replying! I did see they had Liege Fighters available and I actually almost ordered some other chicks from them back in the summer.

Then like you said I researched and found the horror stories online of disease and pretty poor standard birds coming from there so I cancelled the order.

I would love if you could post some pictures of your birds! Would love to see what they look like and it could help the discussion on DC that maybe they aren’t all bad.

No offense taken at all, I truly hope if nothing else your search for validation brought you to this thread where we can all continue to work on and discuss these birds together. I know how shady many eBay sellers are, so I wanted to make sure to do my due diligence and ensure that you are happy with what you have purchased from me! 1 negative review or eggs that aren’t what they are meant to be would definitely affect my reputation in what is already such a risky purchase.
