I’m getting antsy because I’m not candling for a couple more days. In an attempt to keep myself amused until then, I thought I would fill up this dead space with a couple fun chicken facts for you

The largest chicken egg ever recorded weighed 12 oz and contained two yolks

The rooster love dance is called “tidbitting”

Only the left ovary of a hen (pullet) develops to maturity
