Initially I liked it because it was free (something my grandson purchased but never used). Then I liked it because it does most of the work, minus adding water every day or so.

Then I didn’t like it because when I started hatching in the colder months, it wouldn’t hold humidity and my hatches were awful. I bought some thermometers and hygrometers, but no stabilizing it, so I bought another NR360. Had same issues with the new one, so I contacted Harris Farms and they sent instructions on how to calibrate. Then figured out the lack of humidity probably had more to do with having the bators in my room now and closer to the floor, so I brought them higher off the floor. Not to mention, I live in the desert.

but I would say be sure to get a separate thermometer/hygrometer and calibrate them to be sure everything is correct. I use a shelf liner for hatch time to make clean up easier and keep little toes out of the bigger holes. I LOVE mine!!!!!!!!!! I do need to recalibrate the temp and humidity though but for now I just use my one inside it and it works great!!!!!!! It is really easy to use for a beginner since you don't need to open to add water, has an auto turner etc.

Oh and clean the fan!!!!!! I found I had to have my incubator pretty high to get it to 99.5 (100.5-101). Well when cleaning after my last hatch I noticed the fan was soooooooo dirty (chick dander and fluff) so I cleaned it and now only need it at 100 to get it to be 99.5 so MUCH better!!!!!!!

I saw the instructions on calibrating the incubator. Was it hard? I have a govee in there and where it has hot and cold spots what do I go by to calibrate it. I can have it in one spot and it will read 100 and in another and it reads 98. afraid to calibrate it and have it be way off. LOL
