Well here in Middle Tn. it is drab and dreary the high today was 50* at midnight now drissly windy and cold about 39* so yuck!

Light rain here in Northern CA this morning. I think our next storm is coming in. They're calling for rain all week. The last storm we got was a doosey, and with high winds.

We might we don't get much any time of the winter which is good (I think) we have day snows which I love its pretty and then gone. I grew up in Indiana so have had my fair share of snow I could live in the desert easy!

We are on our 6th straight day of pouring rain, and I can tell you that we are MAJORLY flooded. I keep praying the power doesn't go out!

Usually like rainy weather, I am from the coast. The soil here is adobe mud under crab/burmuda grass. The chickens have decimated the vegetation in the run. Filling feeders and waterers in the dark before I leave for work, in the rain, really sucks. Checking on everything at night after work, in the dark, really sucks.

I don't get quality chicken time until the weekends.

Yep raining still I have a lake and a creek and we have a flood advisory humm I may have to drive the truck over the creek as if it gets going it can run over the road then it gets fun...not! The UPS truck got stuck the other day they were afraid to deliver my stuff until yesterday (it took a back hoe to get it unstuck as no tow truck would come out they get stuck out here too)

Oh that is crazy sounding. It is pretty bad when the tow truck is afraid to come out!
I just keep wondering how things are going at home - wondering if the chickens have the good sense to come in out of the rain or if my husband will have to go out there and shoo them back to cover.
