After an hour of reading, I am finally caught up.. Congrats on the midnight hatch Mahonri!!

Now you understand why I nearly hyperventilated just trying to get the camera hooked up to the computer for the upload.. It took a good half hour after that just for my breathing to get back to normal..

My first to hatch after post#5500 is still the only chick I have. No other pips yet. I thought surely, that atleast a couple would be pipped by this morning. Nothing doing, though!

Still time on some of the contests! We need pictures! Crowing rooster contest is open to ALL BYCers, and it ends at midnight tonight. Also, time for the cutest chick pictures to start coming in! These have to be a picture of one of your New Years Day hatch chicks, I believe. Gotta double check with Mahonri on that to be sure.

I've been watching this thread since the contest started, and I have been SO excited watching and waiting. Wish we had a bator, but we do have one coming in the mail in the next week or so (ordered it last week, I guess holidays are slowing down the shipping process). I'll participate in the Easter one for sure!

Happy New Year! We have 12 Andalusian chicks so far, the last one came out about 2 am, my DD(11) woke up and checked, I was alseep long before midnight-sat down with DS(5) who wasn't feeling good and fell alseep.

Good morning, and Happy New Year! I've got 10 babies, no idea which hatched what time, so I'm definitely out for the first-after-NY hatch

Almost exclusively the blue/green eggs, so I'm hoping the others will start soon and catch up.
