Well , I just can't wait , I'm starting ahead of you all .
I've got several pullets determined to go broody inspite of the fact they just started laying . There are 4 , hatchery version , WLR Cornish that only lay once and awhile anyway , so I left one on two EE eggs she had claimed and added three more tans , and we'll see how determined she is ; I'm closing that breeding pen 'till spring anyway so she can just have her own nursery .
I may leave another on the 11th , as I have a Wyandotte that fights me every time I take her off the nest she claims and I think her fluffy body will cover quite a few eggs [ if she isn't broke by then ] , and still loading the 'bator at noon that day .
