Is it just me or is this just...

Nevermind. I'm very low on coffee today.

Oh Renee, I'm blushing now.

CRACKS ON EGGS!

Mine are in!

(How 'bout yours Mary?)

Got them in at 12:01 and the bator was holding steady at 101 (still air) before I put them in. My humidity is a wee bit high right now, guess I shouldn't have added water.

ETA:

I have put in:

4 Welsummer eggs (hoping they are pure)
3 Ameraucana eggs (olive egger babies)
9 bantam cochin eggs (mille fleur, buff barred split to black and black barred split to buff)
7 Icelandic eggs

So 23 total! I have a picture, but I still can't upload from my computer. Dang internet company!

Your solution..................Brinsea Spot check thermometer. Best thing I ever bought for hatching. It's accurate to .01 degree. It has a probe, and you just stick it down through a vent hole and it hovers above the eggs.

Mahonri..........How's your spot check working out with the step by step instructions I gave you?

Now all we have left are any chooks in Alaska or Hawaii.

Day one will be ending before long down under in Aussie land.
