Mahonri's 2nd Annual NYDHatch, watching them grow...

I have a laptop, its 5+ years old...pre-dinosaur! My desktop was built custom for us. I call it the Mellenium Falcon. If I turn it off, I have to restart it 30-100 times before it will actually run. I get a black screen and it doesn't load. Occasionally, it will make a really loud pounding noise and needs a swift kick, then the noise stops....I use my driod for nearly everything. All my electronics stink, but my phone has been good to me.

Okay, haven't updated here in a while. Sheesh lots of pages to read. . . .

Well, yesterday I set 2 Ameraucana eggs, about 4 Olive Egger eggs, and 2 Blue Wheaten Ameraucana eggs. . .

Soo, no pics yet, and the only bummer is that I'm likely not to know how the whole hatch rate will go, but I currently cannot find one of those outlet converter things that switch from three pronged to two pronged for my bator.

I don't have a broody, nor an incubator( yet...he he he) but I think Mahonri will hatch 79 eggs, Icelandic, Icelandic, FBCM.

That is when I'm going to start my incubator up again. It'll be running for a long, long time. I'm thinking about setting eggs every 6 days so I can have alot of hatches.

I was gonna tell you this cause I've done the same thing before with no problems.

I feel for you - know that feeling!! We are not having freezing weather or ice storms right now (thank goodness!), but we are haveing excessive rain (ie: flooding) and today high winds. The power has bumped off and back on several times......hope it doesn't go out and stay out!! I also worry that the power surges may end up damaging or blowing out the heating element or the motor on the egg turner. So, I guess it's always something to worry about!!! Here I thought I was doing so well yesterday - eggs in, temps stable and holding just right, humidity - ditto. But now I may end up with no power!! Arrgghhhh
