I have a chick.beautiful, out of a blue cooper hen and who knows who the daddy is.......

Should be fun to watch it grow out.

4. ANd everytime I go out to check on them, they RUN to me and try to jump out to get to me. I have never had ducks do that before. I think they think I am their mama.

Yeah that is the way our one did with DD......even now he thinks she is his mama.....according to DD, ducks easily imprint on the first thing they see that is not another duckling! ..........

If you set them on the ground they will follow you everywhere. All of my ducks have done this when they are young. I just love playing with them.
