Hi, I'm checking in from the wintry land of Georgia ......Sorry I've been away for so long. Semis are stuck yesterday and now two days of emergency. It's crazy and dangerous on the road and the land. At the farm we have had about 7 inches of snow and now the ice is sheeted with it. We have some hills that I literally am fashioning some homemade ways to cross them to get to the animals. We will see if tennis raquets tied to shoes help or hurt! Yesterday we literally got on our hands and knees to get to the animals. We're hand carrying roughly 350 gallons of water, I quit counting after 300. Life is a hard adventure. I'm glad not to be stuck on the roadways though and near home. Okay enough for excuses!

I wanted to post a picture of our babies born on Jan. 4 and Jan. 5......too late for qualifying for the hatch, but I think they are pretty. The lavendar ones are our lavendar orpingtons (from the lavendar pen) and were custom hatch for a customer and the others are little Babies for The Garry Farm!

Again and again, thank you Mahonri, the judges, Chookschick, all the participants. I've read much of the postings. I've rejoiced, wept with joy and sorry and prayed and hoped with you all.
