Making Buckeyes...Help....Mine are yucky and dumb :(

Okay, So I thought I was going to make these beautiful, perfect buckeyes for my family today.........

NOT!!

Mine would NOT get hard so that I could dip them in the choc. Even after I used 354 pounds of confectioners sugar. The tooth picks fell out even after they were in the freezer for 30 minutes and now they are all greasy looking and ugly!!! They taste OKAY but I was expecting more!!

Please Help Me!!!!

PS I would post pics but just picture deer poop and thats what they look like!!
