Malpositioned/shrink wrapped duckling?! HELP!

Pics
You have such great advice!! Thank you!! He does respond to my voice very well!

Thank you!

Keep the pics coming and we will all try to help you along and hold your hand from afar.

I’ve always said it’s a good thing these little boogers are so adorable, because it makes the effort and the wait all worth it. :)

Ok so, I know i was suppose to wait, but what you said about the white membrane turning colors scared me a bit...
it is a golden yellow color, and so I very carefully chipped a small part of the shell in that area and it’s like it’s bruised.
I’m going to try and upload a video!

Video wouldn’t work... but I hope you can see from this pic...

I so love that this forum exists!!

I’m definitely going to do that!! I’m not going to do a thing until WV tells me otherwise!! I just saw her comment about the discoloring o I chipped that little piece. Promise!

The other two have now pipped so all four are currently working on coming out!!

#2 seems to be resting. His/her respirations seem to be the same he/she is just more still

#4 pipped at a perfect site by the air sack and still has shell over it

#5 continues to break tiny pieces from his/her shell and has that bruised yellow spot also which I understand to be from trying to pipp and rubbing the membrane against the shell? (Picture is #5)

#6 has internally pipped into the air sac and is feisty!

Which one is this pic?

Here’s what I’m currently working on today. Not good, but still fighting. :(
I don’t expect it to live, but it still has a slim chance.
You do not want this!
