Babies!

Bill's big blue dtr clean shanked crossed with Gnarles chick on the right. It has one feather stub on each leg and it is black. I

's the fluff factor here.

Gnarles and Chloe's little Blue Copper chick on the left.

One more from Bill's big blue dtr hatched about 20 minutes ago....I believe this one is also black and I think I see more feathering on this one.

There are still 2 BCM eggs in lockdown...one is still rocking and moving, I haven't seen the other one move.

I took a pic of that variety at the show (White and Red). That was a new one on me too.

Okay here is the pic of the red white variety of Marans. I am putting it up first to test and make sure they are coming out right lol and see how big they look.

Okay here are some egg pics at the Marans table before they were judged. I was kinda impressed with those cuckoo ones in the front here lol. Nice and dark and also marbled looking.
I hope someone can give me some insight on what they look for when they judge eggs. Size? Uniformity? Color? What else?
