OK Debbi,
I'll share a couple photos. One of my girls with their Araucana friend.

Out foraging for some worms.

Still chilly here can hardly wait for spring!

you're gettin 70 down there today? We got an early morning thunderstorm...and its plenty cool, but I'll take this weather over the piles of snow others seem to be getting. What part of Missouri are you in?

Yup! The wind is supposed to kick up though, so that will bring in rain tonight. Hope we don't get thunder storms, I HATE LIGHTNING!!! And tornados! I'm in South-Central MO.

I had issues, but they weren't temp or humidity related. On the last batch, I hatched 17 out of 20 eggs. I had an 18 th egg that pipped, but got shrink wrapped when I went in for the emergency. . . I had two other that did not pip, but had developement.

With SHIPPED eggs there are so many things that can go wrong BEFORE they even get to you. . . .

I hatched delawares and Olive eggers right beside my marans without any trouble.

I say TRY AGAIN and try to find eggs close to you. . . .

I am so sorry math ace. You must think I'm so rude. I had no idea you responded to my questions. Thank you so much. 17 out of 20 is an awesome hatch. Way better than what I got with my Marans (1 out of 18). LOL I'm putting 15 Marans in the bator now. Hoping for a good hatch.

I'm there with ya on the the lightning and tornadoes...I always get on edge during tornado season. Do you ever make it to the sedalia show? I've never been, its always been on a weekend when I have something already goin....or do you ever make it over to Kansas to the HOAGBA club exotic auctions? The have some mighty interesting things there sometimes and tons and tons of poultry. I like going for the people I meet down there...and the occasional goodies that are just too good to pass up.
