flgarden~ Totally not fair posting pictures of those ADORABLE Silkie babies!!!! I do miss my Q-tip boy running around here like he was the boss of everyone and everything. LoL, I miss his crow the most. He is living the good life on a farm in Oregon where he is the only rooster and gets to freerange all day on pasture and he is spoiled rotten by his new owner. I'm sure he is thinkin'....."It's good to be a chicken!"

Its already steaming this morning...I got up early to tackle the weeds that have turned into a forest overnight in the garden and I already have to take a break...its just too hot and humid with no breeze at all.

On a better note....I am hearing peeping in the incubator! I'm looking forward to see what is in there tomorrow....I'll just have to keep myself distracted for the rest of the day....this is gonna be hard

My other two are real laid back especially the dark blue one. He is a little baby.

Pink: looking back on these pics makes me wanna hatch out some more silkies too! I think those pics were from around Thanksgiving sometime.
Gee they're so little maybe dh wouldn't notice LOL! I could put them in a rabbit hutch and tell him they are bunnies.

galavina got my fingers crossed for your hatch as well. I hate the weeds. I just weeded last week and now it doesn't even look like I did anything. I know I need to mulch better next time grrrr. I am getting rust or something on my summer squash plants. My acorn squash looks okay and has some baby acorns started. My watermelon has a few watermelons about the size of a softball so far. My peppers are producing like wild. Okra is still getting tall and no okra flowers yet-started them late! I am growing some of the hibiscus that you make tea from..they look pretty good so far.

I have 4 BCMs pipping upstairs!!!!!!

Today is day 20 so we're about on schedule. I put them in lockdown yesterday afternoon! 22 potential fluffers!!!!

Can't wait for them to join the party!

Ha! Graham just got to watch the first baby hatch! (my 16 month old son)

He was like "chichun"....."egg"......."chichun"....."egg"? Then we went to the fridge to get him a snack and he pointed at the egg carton and exclaimed CHICHUN!!!! Like baby chicks were just going to hop on out!!!!

That kid cracks me up!

I also love Marans! I'm beginning. Only have bb black/copper colour from parents imported from France. The eggs were amazing, chocolate!
