MARCH 2021 HATCH-A-LONG 🌷🌸🌼

I had so many pipps and they are now rolled all over the place with 2 chicks flopping around.
Should I cut this off chick 2 or leave it for now? I am afraid to open the bator with so many pipps going on now.

I woke up to 5 more pita chicks this morning! So I have 7/11 hatched. I see 2 more pips getting rolled around in the incubator so as soon as these 5 look dry enough I am going to move them to the brooder. I can’t imagine having anywhere close to 22 chicks in there at once.

I have three eggs left out of the 11 pita that went into lockdown. I decided to quickly remove the egg shells and look for bottom pips since the chicks really knocked the eggs around. I picked one up and right away heard a chirp so put it back. It must be internally pipped. The second egg is one of the ones with a saddled air cell and it has not done anything. I am not sure if it is alive. The third was pipped on the bottom so quickly turned it around and closed the incubator. I feel good about 2 of the 3. If I end up with 10/11 which would be 10/16 shipped, that is great for my first ever incubation and with shipped eggs. I really like this Nuture Right 360.
