I've raised humidity today in the incubator - 3 golden laced bantam wyandottes. Also have 2 under a broody hen.

Good luck! I have Blue Birchen Marans eggs on day 18 that I need to transfer to the hatcher today.

First chick out, one of my OE. 5 more pipping. Seems like they just took a little longer this time around.

Just a quick question - I set my eggs quite late evening 27th Feb, so can i expect they start hatching during 20th or more likely during 21st?

So far, having trouble getting humidity much over 50%. High has been 58%. I've got 4 wet sponges and a wet towel spread in there. Generally, it's not hard to get high humidity.... grrr closed up one of the vent holes with a paper towel to see if that helps. Been keeping the humid low for most of this hatch 25-35% humidity.
