One does, and the other doesn't. They are cute as heck though.I agree with cppeace, those will grow up to be pretty. I have to ask, do they have feathered feet?

Thank you they were much more fiesty today. I thought that may be the case but I was just a nervous nelly...It takes newly hatched chicks a couple of days before they start exploring beyond their heat source. This is the same as if they were under a broody hen or stuck in a shipping box. They have everything they need from their yolk sacs and are still getting used to breathing, walking, seeing etc. They look clear eyed and alert in your photo.
@Hurley congratulations on the Exchequer Leghorn chicks. They are so beautiful.
Swedish, mosaic, and Breese OH MY!Ok last clearing candle done. Have left at least 7 moving white breese, 4 moving swedish flower hens, 2 mosiacs, 2 iffy one white breese and one don't remember breed of, very doubtful on either of those. Also left 1 in that was due yesterday as it's very full looking but no movement seen. Will be day 21 on the 21st. Officially raising humidity tomorrow. Removed from cartons.
I bought this, on Amazon, I think it was like $9 but if you wanted an adjusting holder to use if you had like a wood brooder it was like $11. I could take a pic of it if you need it. It screws into the side of the brooder.Nope, I found it at a local hardware/feed store though I saw it online but more money.

hmm so now it's up to 66% and the plexi-glass is getting some condensation on it? That doesn't seem right....
Well, final count is 5/9 chicks and 4/10 ducks hatched for this batch. Round two of ducklings goes into lockdown Wednesday.
My EE chicks ended up being one black, two blue, two lighter blue.
They all look to have featherd legs and beards
