March Hatch-A-Long

I'm using my other incubator this time that has a turner in it for this hatch, and I put more egg's in it than I did for my last try in my other incubator that I used the last time and only had one lonely little silkie hatch out of that batch.

Ah, that's a shame...how's your silkie doing? Are they different brands of incubators?

My silkie chick is doing good! When it was about 1 1/2 week's old already, I got 2 silkie chick's from an AZ. silkie breeder, that were only a couple day's old to keep it company. All 3 of them stick together like glue. I now have 6 silkie egg's from that same breeder of those 2 chick's as part of those 31 egg's that will be hatching on Sunday.

And more silkie hatching egg's will be coming as shipped egg's soon from another good breeder. But next time I won't be hatching any from my own flock with those.

Well, my one cemaniX egg didn't hatch, so I threw it out. As for the rest of the eggs, I stopped flipping the full size eggs yesterday and will stop flipping the d'uccle eggs today.
