No answer again but I’m going to try again. Unfortunately the number they called from was blocked or something, no caller ID, so I can’t call back that same number.

I think they must be working from home or something.

Call them back and figure out if you can drop him off. If not, ask for instructions on how to euthanize and ship.

Keep trying. State labs are very busy places because all the vets in the state send them stuff.
Rabies testing, bovine stuff, lots of equine stuff...hundeds if not thousands of tests going on at any given time.

Seriously? No offense intended, I just figured that someone that posts as much as you do would have no problem making phone calls.

Have any of your vaccinated birds contracted it? And can the vaccine be given as an adult?

Vaccinated birds can get Marek’s and die from it if exposed. However the mortality rate is a lot lower than unvaccinated birds.

It’s easy for me online but in person or on the phone is harder because I have bad anxiety. I’ve gotten better in some ways though and can make small talk in stores and stuff now but even that or ordering food used t be hard for me once I know somebody though, I never stop talking but it’s just that initial contact that is really hard for me.

I checked with our lab online and they are operating as normal during the shutdown, so I'm sure they are not working from home in Mass. They would have to have labs at home. They'll call again.
