May change breeds

I think you should.
It'd be one thing if it had died a few weeks from now but you only just got the bird and it looked sick in the pictures.
It literally died the next day. I’ll see if dad could ring the person up about it.

At least get a replacement. No charge:old
I definitely should as they were $20 each.

The pied one is sick and is probably going to die soon. Also, I’m getting some more king pigeons today from a different person that seem healthier.

These are the two new kings, the red is a cock and the blueish black one is a hen. One did vomit on the journey but it wasn’t that much, and I’m yet to check their droppings. They are in a cage in the shed while the others are in the barn.

Regarding the others the pied one died and I reckon the red is next. Their symptoms are large watery droppings with a lot of white (urine?), sick stance, fluffed up, liquid from mouth, unalert. And they are a bit smelly. The red one looks to possibly have something up with its crop, and has been doing some watery droppings. The white checkered is the only one that I’m confident about that will survive as it looks perfectly fine, and is quite alert. But who knows it may just get sick and die.

Update:
I have since moved out the large pair of kings, and the white checker and red king from the other quarantine cage. I reckon there are 3 hens being the blue, white check, and the red. And I only have one male that is red. Currently, the white check hen is on some eggs she’s laid recently.

I’m thinking about getting another large male, but there aren’t any that close. There is one bird who’s sex isn’t specified nor breed, but I think it could be a male. It’s $40, a lot for one pigeon. Here’s some photos from the ad:

What do you guys think?

Also, regarding my other pigeons. The Birmingham Rollers have another squab. And I’ll need to look out for some more as so far all the birds bred have the same father.

And the Fantails have had quite a few young. I’m going to be selling the young ones eventually. I’m only planning on keeping one that I think is a hen, as I like its colour. I’ll post some pics on the weekend.
