Well, my test egg leghorn/RIR is one mean sun of a gun....all i need to do is stick my hand by him and he will attack! and its startin to hurt so hes goin away this weekend....good riddance!

Wouldn't a Leghorn/RIR cross be a sexlink?

Oh, and since RIR roos are supposed to be really mean, that is probably where he gets it. Leghorns are just supposed to be really flighty (but mine are little cuddle buns).

It will depend on the bird and the strain. Since it was a test egg from pure production lines, i'm sure nobody cared about "bad"behavior.

We use to have the meanest sex link roo that ever lived. He would chase you all over the yard. A fox got him just before the chopping block. Believe, or not, I miss him sometimes though. He was huge and had lots of personality, even if it was mean personality...personality is personality

I don't know why we let him hang around as long as we did.
