Membrane turning brown

I took it out and put some coconut oil on the membrane and saw there is blood the membrane is hard and crusty but I did not touch it in case of bleeding the chick still is chewing

Good luck! I had one like this that I assisted in my last hatch. I basically had to do all the zipping, although I did it very slowly. When it finally got out, there was a section of shell and membrane stuck firmly to its back. It had held the chick in one spot and prevented it from being able to turn and zip on its own.
