Ooooooops- Soory! Lol. He is my most typey boy. I can't wait until hatching time. I may even cross him with some mille's late next year. Your Dan has such awesome type I wanted a rooster with awesome type. That way I can have some typey cochin fun projects. I think he will have some really nice type but not like Dan's. Peanut Butter will be fun to mix colors with as he is double barred. All his chicks will be barred and I also have blue mottleds which I will stuff in with him and all the other mixed colors from this year. SO, I'm super happy I got him. He is my replacement for Dudley.

I lost every mottled roo I kept from Dudley this year. Dudley got killed by a coon. Then the 3 cockerels I kept were coming along great. Magic, was overly black and I found him in his favorite spot covered in blood from I don't know what. All I know was there was something getting our free ranging guinea's eggs she was trying to hatch. Then it killed her and she layed on her nest with egg shells everywhere and covered in blood. After- I was down to Dudley Jr. and Buddy. Dudley Jr. was all to happy about losing magic and went loco on me. He was sold. I thought since I still had buddy I could make the whole typey mottleds work but with my luck we had a hawk atack. He died defendng his young pullets he lived with. I only have Napoleon now but he seems to be gettin no type.

Country boy, please ask for a backup battery for your birthday, and KEEP those pics coming.

The funny thing is, I have 2 sets of spare batteries but was to lazy to charge them. But know worries- they are all charged. I usually get three days of picture taking as I take so many. Once I get going I can't stop.
